Dear Fellow Mimosa Members,
I am thrilled to nominate my good friend, Caroline Ritter Willis, for membership in the Mimosa Garden Club. Caroline would be a wonderful addition to our Garden Club because she would be an energetic, fun, and active member. I have known her for over 17 years and she is friends with many of our members. Caroline grew up in Norfolk, Virginia, where her mother, Bridget Ritter, was involved in the Garden Club of Norfolk. She vividly remembers watching her mother creating gorgeous arrangements for home tours and Garden Club events. Caroline definitely inherited her “flower gene” from her mom. She loves arranging flowers for her home, her clients’ homes, and special events like “Giving By Design.” Caroline attended the University of Virginia where she met her future husband, Brice Willis. Both Caroline and Brice became good friends with my husband during their first year of college. After working in New York City, she moved to Atlanta to work with Dan Carithers before putting out her own shingle. Caroline is a talented and successful interior designer. She has a passion for making things beautiful! Caroline is deeply involved in her community. Most of her volunteer time is spent through the National Charity League. She and her daughters are members of the Buckhead Chapter. Caroline is an Agape Youth and Family Center lead. In addition to planning meals and events for the organization, she led an “extreme bedroom makeover” for a deserving family through Agape. Recently, Caroline co-chaired the Evening for Education benefitting Odyssey, a summer program for underserved Atlanta youth hosted at Westminster. Her responsibilities included the decoration and florals. The Willises are members of the Cathedral of St. Philip, and Caroline has been on the committee for Cathedral Giving by Design for the last three years. They are also members of the Piedmont Driving Club. They have two wonderful daughters, Virginia (17) and Claire (15). Both girls attend the Westminster Schools. In addition to her fun and outgoing personality, Caroline’s interest in florals and volunteer leadership would make her an excellent new member of Mimosa!
Thank you for your consideration,
Aimee Nix
I am very pleased to recommend Caroline Willis for our Garden Club. She is married to one of my son’s best friends from the University of Virginia, Brice Willis. Caroline is a successful designer and has raised two fine daughters. While running her decorating business, she has also found time to do a lot of volunteer projects. Her main work has been helping with Agape children and decorating at the St Philip’s fundraising gala every year. She is always ready to help in a big way when needed with a smile on her face. She is very outgoing and delightful to be around. She would be a real asset for our Garden Club.
Sincerely,
Beth Nix
Dear Mimosa Members,
It is my pleasure to express my support of Caroline Willis as a prospective new member of Mimosa Garden Club. Caroline and I met when our children started preschool together in 2011 and she has been a dear friend ever since. She is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia and attended UVA where she met her husband, Brice. She and Brice have lived in Atlanta for years and their two lovely daughters, Virginia and Claire, are students at The Westminster School where Caroline is active as a parent volunteer. She began her career as an interior designer working under Dan Carithers and now works independently as the owner of Caroline Willis Interiors. She is immensely talented and known for her fresh and classic style that reflects her love of both art and history. Caroline is simply a delightful person. She treats everyone with kindness whether they are peers in her social circles or strangers. She is a gracious entertainer and the parties she and Brice host are not to be missed as they often end with spontaneous live music. Caroline has many friends in Mimosa already and those who don’t know her would be delighted to – she is always a treat and would be a fantastic addition to the club. Thank you for giving Caroline your best consideration.
Warmly,
Sharena Hall

Dear Mimosa Garden Club, It is with great pleasure that I have been asked to endorse Kim Nalley for membership into the Mimosa Garden Club. Kim was raised all over the country with a Father who was in the Navy, but Florida is where she graduated from high school and college. Kim has been married to Clay Nalley for 25 years, and they have two sons who went to the Lovett School with my children. I have known the Nalley family for the past 50 years and adore Kim. She is an active participant in not only tennis and pickleball, but also Mahjong and Georgia Football! Kim would put this same energy and enthusiasm into Mimosa, and we would be fortunate to have her amongst our membership. Kim is a good friend, and she loves her family, friends, and already has many close friendships in our Garden Club. I hope you will consider Kim Nalley as a top candidate for membership. Sincerely, Amanda G. Brady |
Dear Mimosa Garden Club,

It is my pleasure to endorse Sally Scruggs Griffith for membership in Mimosa. I have known Sally and her family since we moved to Athens in 1992 and they were all delightful! We were members of the same church; the children all went to the same schools; we were involved in some of the same organizations; lastly, her mother, Jerry and I, worked together at a local gift shop. Sally is outgoing, warm, and easy to get to know. Besides Lovett, she has volunteered at Agape, CHOA, and the Shepherd Center to name a few. She easily gets involved in whatever she undertakes both willingly and enthusiastically. I believe she would be an excellent addition to Mimosa! I hope you will give her every consideration.
