Come with your gardening gloves and tools in hand for our annual workday in the Quarry Gardens. We will also receive an update from Sarah Roberts, Olga C. de Goizueta Vice President of Goizueta Gardens and Living Collections.

Terry Furuta will be our speaker. Her shop is at Corso Atlanta, and she will be doing a presentation on orchids.

Kate Conner, Executive Director of Food Well Alliance will speak about the organization. Food Well Alliance is a collaborative network of local leaders working together to build thriving community gardens and urban farms across metro Atlanta.

Blake Segars, founder of T. Blake Segars Architecture and Landscapes, will discuss classical and traditional architecture and design philosophies. He will share how they are being modernized to bring fresh perspective with greater function to today’s homes and gardens.

We will enjoy a tour of the mansion and grounds.

Julie Yates will make a charcuterie board.

Program: William T Smith, a landscape architect specializing in residential garden design.

Program: Holly Bryan Floral Design, creator of artistic floral and botanical creations.

Program: Annual Business Meeting and update on The Atlanta Speech School from Comer Yates, Executive Director.

Program: Virginia Webb, a full-time commercial beekeeper and queen producer.

Program: Bruce Grant, owner of H.G. Robertson Fine Silver and Gifts, discussing floral design in sterling silver and jewelry.

Program: Rena Ann Peck will be coming to speak on the Okefenokee Swamp.
